Any other people here that like to go fishing?

When I was in Texas I went fishing often for bass but barely ever caught anything. My best fishing experience was catching a bunch of bass from a private lake. Another notable experience for me was trying to catch trout on the Gaudaloupe River. Amazing place but never caught anything. However on two trips there, I was fishing with a friend of the family and he kept yanking out beast sized trout. I don’t even think they were stockers but were over summered trout from the previous year!
