agreed with the sleep thing. I dont do a third of the work my wife does with the kid. And i never get 8 hrs

I would just be careful, avoid any chemical treatments to the tank, make sure you wash your hands after doing anything with the tank and don't put your hands in the water if you have any open cuts/wounds. There are some bacteria you can pick up from the fish tank but as long as you take normal precautions you should be ok.
