This is an excerpt from a tropical fish keeping book I found at the thrift store today. Let me know your reaction(s)
"Stocking suggestions for a tank 24x12x12
3 flying foxes, 1 bristlenose plec, then after 10 days: 7 neon tetras, 5 black phantom tetras, 5 harlequin rasboras, 2 dwarf gouramis, 3 coryadoras, THEN weeks later : 4 guppies or platies
suggestion 2: 3 flying foxes, 1 bristelnose plec 10 days later:7 zebra danios, 8 tiger barbs, 3 cories, 2 kribensis, 4 weeks later: 4 platies or mollies
I know these aren't "monster fish," but doesn't that stocking seem a BIT heavy for a less than 20 gallon tank?
