ok i cant find myself to sell my tank. every time i feed my fish and watch them theres something that is there that pulls me more towards fishkeeping! anyone else like this?? looks like ill have to quit smoking. so far made a pack last me 3 days and still have 15 left, longest i made a pack last me! so im about ready to quit i think! anyways, i want to better help my fish and make them more happy! any ideas on what frozen food, sea food, or human food is good for them?? and im thinking of downstocking to. right now i have,

2 oscars 1 sev 1 T meeki 1 T aureus 1 male 1 female con with about 10 to 15 1/2 inch frys so im thinking of doing, 1 oscar 1 sev 1 T meeki 1 T aureus 1 male con for my final stock, what you all think??

any any other ways to better care for my fish? the temp is stable at 75 degrees. i do w/c every 2 weeks and clean the debris and poop every week from the bottom of the tank. so any other ideas?

i feed raw shrimp 2 to 3x a week to.

You've got to really figure out which of your fish you like the best and commit to them....The Oscars will eventually place the most strain on your filter system which is not good if water changes are an issue....You could just keep the pair of convicts and sell the babies for spare change...You could even keep only the severum anthe meeki.

cons dont go for anything around here, already talked to the owner and ill be lucky if he takes them ( which he says he will ) so im done breeding cons. just want a good community tank to look at ( with cichlids being the comminity species ) so if i got rid of the 2 oscars ( which will be hard for me as i love them! ) would i beable to do,

1 sev
1 T meeki
1 T aureus
1 male con
1 blood parrot
1 salvini or EBJD

how does that stock look?

Don't know much about the aureus and I don't much care for the parrots but that combo sounds pretty good.

io didnt even realize what i wrote. i ment to say is, im still getting rid of 1 con ( female ) and her frys and 1 oscar so my final stocking will be 1 oscar 1 male con 1 sev 1 T meeki 1 T aureus. so im going to take out the divider for now tell im able to get to ec this weekend. and im going to clean the tank today. part of another reason im going to take down the divider.
