How many threads do you need to start that end up basically discussing the same thing (these are within the last 10 days):

You use different titles but the threads always move onto stock changes. You get answers but you create a new thread with a different title, to avoid being accused of spamming no doubt, but basically the same content.
Are the answers you are receiving not what you want to hear so you ask again?

You seem to get more leeway than other members and I assume that is because of your disabilities, which most probably don't have a problem with but you seem to be abusing that leeway that the mods give you.

That is the way of the livebearerfreak, he seeks so many different answers that it gets to the point that they contradict and cancel out each other and he just keeps going and going until someone says something that is already in line with what he was originally thinking, making them both wrong hahaha. Confusing i know but you get use to it. i just hope he ciphers out the best advice but that's probably wishful thinking

I agree, these same type of threads go back to when he was convictbreeder.

Livebearerfreak,

I have a feeling that even if you do decide to thin out your stock, it will only be for the time being until you see a new fish that you want.

My advice is to not keep any fish until you can work out a deal with your grandparents.

Once they give you permission to fill the tank so that it is full, use a heater, and do weekly waterchanges, think about what fish you will be happy with.

You can ask all the questions you want about, food, stock list, etc. But until you get your water parameters correct and your situation stable, people are going to have a hard time telling you the same advice over and over.

Good luck

tell you what, fish seem alot happier being able to run the whole tank instead of being in the divider. and alot active to. i CAN use a heater and i am. set at 75 degrees. got a few glass over the top of the tank to help keep the heat in. and some members here do water change every 2 weeks to. not trying to arugue heck i dont want anyone mad at me. i think i may take the male convict back to. stressing out my fish really bad. chasing them and all.

What did you do with the cons?

Yes, some members do WCs every two weeks.

The important thing is not the frequency, it is the bio-load vs volume of water.

You have a 112 gal tank but you only keep it half full, so you have 2 oscars and 3 other cichlids in 60 gallons of water, chances are you will have nitrate problems.

and were gunna get some 2x4s from the amish this week sometime so i can finish filling hoply by the end of the week. after i finish filling what do you think? fill it to the top? couple inches from the top?
