After 2 days of getting unexplained low nitrate readings, I tested again today, and it was 80ppm. My results for the past few days were 60, 5, 5, 80. So the most obvious explaination was the correct one, I must have done something wrong.
So the bad news is, I'm an idiot. The good news is, my cycle is still on track.
