Fishless Cycling Tank Help!!!

how much ammonia have yall added to your tank daily and throughout the process? Reason i ask bc ive read that its 3-5 drops per gallon on some sites and the 5 drops per 10 gallons on others...BUMP

I wouldn't go by drops, every ammonia bottle seems to have a different concentration of pure ammonia, probably the reason every site says something different.

You want 4-5ppm:

How to get 4-5ppm? The easiest route is to take a 1 gallon container (of your tank water). Add enough drops to it, until your test kit reads 4ppm. Then multiply that amount by gallons in your tank. Then follow the above link, works perfectly.

allright i got my tank cycling, ammonia is now at 4 ppm and now im just waiting to be able to test the nitrites soooo
 
You will see soon that in 24 hrs after adding the ammonia it will read 0. You will then see the nitrites take off. You have to keep feeding the ammonia. Once the Nitrites spike they too will go to 0. At that point you need to do a water change and add some fish. Good luck. It just takes time.
