Those devils have a fantastic orange creamiscle color to them, and a great body shape too!

They really are coming along. Good job man

Love the set up

just make sure and let him know the first chick he chooses is for life...lol

looks great bro

Awesome. Looks great!

thanks everyone. this tank is very fun. cant wait till theyre all 10"+

tank has been working for quite some time as all these fish have been raised from a small size together and have zero unnecessary aggression. maybe a little posturing by the large male devil but thats it. will be removing two devils and two zonatums soon, just waiting for the devil to choose a female. tank also has an 8x30" footprint so plenty of room for everyone in the longterm

Your one RD is sweet, hope to see him as a large mature fish. I'm sure you know but a bunch of 5" fish getting along without unnecessary aggression is different from 12" fish getting along. Hey it might work......I have less doubt about breeding pairs. I would think if anything you could have a couple pairs of these fish owning half the tank long term. You never know for sure though. It is a larger tank. I bet having single fish and not mating pairs would work out best. Good luck

thanks. i am a bit worried when the devils pair up so if when they spawn they go nutz i have a tank i can move them to. this tank used to have a breeding pair of la ceiba freddys and they did just fine and all the fish pretty much kept to themselves and left the pair alone. moved them when i got a 135 so they could have their own tank.

You have a beautiful tank you did a great job with fish selection!

Great set-up!! Awesome fish too:) I really like the color on those devils. I think you'll be fine with those guys in that tank for a while:) but like you said, just keep an eye out for a devil.pair.
