Aha thanks for the filing tip, will have to remember that for next time .
In terms of temp control I will run multiple heaters to keep the temp up. I'm not too worried about the pond overheating. Dont think we get prolonged warm weather 2noigh in the UK to force it over 30 degrees ever.

Lol one of my absolute pet peeves, probably more annoying then anything. My wife is horrible for it... 12 years still can't break her of the damn habbit.

So moving bed filter is now full of k1 media. Added a fx6 aswell. The k1 media and fx6 were already seeded so pond is pretty much cycled already. Also added a light and have a couple more to add. Once fish have been moved I will make another moving bed filter and also add an eheim bucket filter. But for now I just need to start moving fish.
