Got a call at work from my wife this morning telling me that my 265 had leaked out onto the floor and my big Umbee pair was dead on thier sides at the bottom of the tank. My son came to the rescue and grabbed the fish out of the tank and put them in a 40 gallon breeder. Turns out they were still alive (barely breathing) and have come around somewhat. I don't know if they're going to make it but we're trying to save them. Check out the crack in the back of the tank! This tank is only about 2 months old. Can't figure out what caused it. Can it be the male Umbee banging into the rear glass?!

Cant see any pics but good Luck

I saw the crack on Mo's site. The stand looked great. I assume you made sure it was level. I think it was a manufacturer problem.

I agree. The stand was made by a cabinet maker buddy of mine. It was and still is dead level on both sides. It must be a manufacturer deffect, the tank is only a couple of months old. I've never seen this happen before. Half inch freekin glass!
For some reason I'm having a hard time uploading the pics, I'll try again in a while.

man, that's terrible news. I've got my fingers crossed that your pair pull through!

God that's awful news GM, very sorry to hear. What brand tank was it, or was it custom?
