Fishroom Disaster

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Damn George, that's really terrible.

I HIGHLY doubt that the male could have done it. I'm betting on a manufacture defect. The way the crack goes in an arc from one corner to the other would seem to be fairly circumspect. I once replaced the bottom of a 210 that had 1/2" glass and I had to break it with a hammer because it was siliconed on so well, and it took a LOT of force to break the glass.

I would do whatever I could to get at LEAST a replacement tank from the manufacturer.

Hope the male pulls through. If people want to see photos they're on Mo's site. http://forum.aquamojo.com/index.php?showtopic=11916

Yea what a nightmare. The tank was level and sitting perfectly flat on the wood at all sides.
The tank was a Marineland. I have plenty of others from the same manufacturer and never had a problem. I had to take a bunch of pics and the guy I bought the tank from is sending them to the manufacturer. We'll see what they say.

George,

How are they doing bro ? very sorry to hear this and hope they pull through !!! I will give you a call later if I do not see an update.

Horrible! One of those things that sends shivers down my spine! Really sorry to hear about your situation!

I have a 2nd hand tank at home and every day I come home from work I am glad that there isn't a 120g puddle on my floor...

Im really sorry George :(, very bad news. To me you have some of the best aquariums on the forum and the web. I hope that you could arrange it, though you could not recover to the fish and leave it again in functioning.
