Wow thats very nice what fish do you have in those tanks?

I have a big arowana I rescued off of Craigslist--he hadn't eaten in months, and the water he came out of was nasty. Now he's eating and looks great. The water changing system keeps ammonia and nitrite undetectable and nitrate less than 5 ppm on all the tanks. I think that was all he needed.

I am trying to breed angelfish, and I have a colony of swordtails.

In the other 6 foot tank I have a semi-peaceful community with schooling danios + tetras, and some angels, swordtails, and cory cats. I like live plants and am doing them in clay pots.

I'd really like to get some more breeding projects going, but there is only one LFS in my area and the guy doesn't really cater to breeders. He won't buy or exchange any locally raised fish--period, no exceptions. I'd like to trade young healthy home bred fish, and try some new types but there just doesn't seem to be anyone near me to work with.

We have really hard water here, so I am thinking of trying to breed some africans and some rainbowfish.
