If they agreed that it would be provided for you on a certain day and now it's a week gone by, I hope they give you some kind of discount.

I agree if nothing else it doesn't hurt to ask right?

true, but i got it today. I was really in no hurry because i had finals this week and next so no biggy really... but here are some new pics...

I cleaned the gluing surface with rubbing alcohol, and then put down a 1/2 inch bead across the glass edge. then put the new piece on top. trick is you can't let all the sealant get squeezed out so i used roofing nails that I laid across the edge in the sealant so the weight of the glass would squeeze out only so much of it and stop on the nails head. i removed them after 2 hours..

Oops! forgot to tell ya next move is to put on the plastic trim and then build a stand and start filling with water. hoping to be done by X-mas. so look for more pics. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask..

well the tank is all back together and I have it standing upright. I finished it yesterday by putting on the trim and now letting it all dry. I figure I'll let it dry for at least a week before putting water in it. look for more pics when I fill it with water. lets see if it will leak....

I was going to but the wood trim around it is ugly, i think the tank must have been in a wall because it looks like liquid nails on the trim..
