Anyone in Florida have a tank in their garage?

I have a 120g in my garage that I transferred my pbass too, but was curious on if I'd have any issues with when it gets warmer out... Anyone have any experience with this?

If it doesn't have a/c get a cheap 5000 btu window unit to keep the heat down. I live in Tx, the garage is a hot place to spend time lol.

Might I add this is only temp until the end of june when my new house is built. This is also simply a growout and their final resting spot will be a 1k gallon pond

i live in cali and i have 2 heaters in the winter on all the time and in the spring and summer i hav them both off, the heat from the garage hepls heat it

Texas heat would bring that tank to a light simmer in the garage lol. Be safe and keep an eye on the temp.

When I was living in Tampa my tank was in our garage that we converted into a "Florida room", I didn't have any issues, but we had central air.

Hmm, I guess I'll have to play it by year and when it starts to heat up turn off the heaters. Once the new house is built this tank will be going inside for grow outs
