Let me tell you midnight, I lived over near Labelle flor almost 30 years. You are very close to some nice fishing. If the locks are running on the Caloosahatchee down at Ortona locks I have caught snook up to 30 pounds using a green rubber jig. If you like the exotics go down highway 82 until you deadend into hwy 29, go south on 29 until you hit old 41, go east or west on 41 catch all uropthamus (mayan cichlids), oscars, tilapia, or belonesox you can keep. Catch all those with live worms, fish under the little bridges with live shrimp you can catch snook from 6 inches to 42 inches, along with tarpon and all the manatees you like to see. You scared of alligators, you will see 50 over 10 foot in the first hour on old 41...................Good luck and good fishing:grinyes:

Coral snakes are the only elaphids ( I think that is how you spell it) in the U.S. Cobras are also elaphids so they are not to be messed with. Death from any snake bite in the U.S. is rare but damn its the only death in like 40 years. That is pretty amazing. As scared people are of snakes youd think some one gets killed by one every day. Kind of like guns I guess in the hands of good people I guess.....

The last snake IS a coral snake. A rather large one at that!

Remember; Red on yellow kill a fellow, red on black friend of Jack!

When I was kid in South Alabama I would catch them. I sseriosuly cant believe Im still alive!

Its more like: Red on Yellow kills a fellow, Red on Black venom lack.

a good move that you didnt kill it , , relocate the snake. :)
