i want to get some flag tail but i dont know if they would be compatable with my fish. i have 5 inch aro 3 bichirs im getting a lima shovelnose and a florida gar later on. they are going into my 240 gallon tank, could i get any flag tails?

yes as long as they are not small enogh to become food. you will love a flagtail, and they clean glass like crazy! IMO you can only get 1 or like 6. because they will fight each other to death! get 1 you will love it!
could i keep a fei feng?? ok im going to get 1 for sure, just have some questions. what temp should i keep him in and what do they eat and size they get to. will a gar try to attack him?

ok so i might get a 3-4 inch fei feng tomorrw. i can only put him in my 60 gallon right now, my 240 gallon is still in cycle process. i took the airstone from my 60 and put it in my 240 gallon. ive been reading that flagtails need lots of air, my filter makes a big splash and moves oxygen around just want to know if he will be alright in my 60 gallon for a week. there will be heat for him in the tank just not an airstone.
If it's not too small, chances are it will be fine. It will also keep your glass crystal clear! Or something relatively close.
fei feng is the same thing. they will eat anything. i feed mine algae flake/ wafers, pellets, ect. they will get 12"+ but grow slow. mine will occasionally rasp at my rays but they flip there disc or move and he leaves them alone. some are slimecoat suckers but its mostely rays.
