Hey all, getting me another flagtail prochidulis tommrow. The first one I had died from stress. He was being picked on constaly by a silver datnoid so I moved the silver datnoid to another tank. Come back the next morning and he is dead. Anyways this flagtail will be about 3-3.5''. Before I get him I want to do some research.
I type in flagtail prochidulis and all I get is for sale threads with no info.
So can anyone please give me info on these guys?
Size?
Tankmates?
PH?
Food I know they eat alage but what else.
My lfs tells me that flagtails have to live with platies, etc..\
Is it possible to keep mine with bala sharks, tinfoils, severum, datnoids, and a tire track eel.

flagtails are peaceful fish shuld not be put with aggressive ones, i have mine with a black ghost knife, plecos,decorus syno, discus,and roseline shark. i use to have convicts and jewel cichlids but they were nipping on my fish so i took them out. flagtails clean the tank pretty well, pretty much eat everything

Ok sounds pretty interesting..
I think I am going to keep my flagtail with:
-bala sharks
-tinfoil barbs
-synodontus eurptus
-datnoids
-rotkiel severum
- angelfish
Think it will work out?
