Love it. I am debating a group and currently have three. Was wondering if five would work. 600 gallon heavily scaped tank so the thought of having seven full grown ones may be too much. Would love your insights

I'm a bit surprised that they don't rasp the slime coat of the Polypterus or the Africa Arowana.

I think 7 would easily fit in a 600. Minimum I would have is 5.

The Afrowana is constantly moving, no chance of “rasping”
They show new interest in the polys.

They are between 4 and 7 inches. They grew real fast between 2 and 4 inches then the growth slowed down. Summer tank temps get to 83 and the winter temps drop down to 74.

Never kept more than one at a time so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
