Flagtail

Heyeveryone,

Just bought a 4 inch flagtail. It is a beautiful fish but it is not eating any of the food I give it. It seems to be grazing on algae off the driftwood occasionally. Nothing I give it is consumed. Not even algae wafers. Any advice or thoughts are appreciated.

wait if it has not been long.
have you tried spirulina flakes

Yeah it may need to get settled in to your tank before it actually starts eating

only been in for 3 days. I cant find spirulina flakes anywhere.

In the exact same situation, picked up a 6" Flagtail and for three days threw everything they are supposed to love to eat into the tank and no interest at all. Then on a whim tried tetra colour bits and he goes crazy for them. Good luck.

gave him spirulina and he started nibbling on it... its a good sign.

mines did the same, but after the fourth day, i saw them nibbling on flakes...good luck to you.
