Be sure to make a 35% - 50% water change at least once a week. You would be surprised how that can positively affect the health of your fish.

Flagtail behavior in my experience has often seemed just weird. They'll see other fish eating carnivore feeds and they'll cruise over and pretend they're taking some. They'll swim over to a pile of duckweed and pretend they're eating it. They'll gulp at the surface for reasons that don't have anything to do w/ water quality, O2 saturation or anything else... they're just odd.
