Do flagtails still continue to eat algea when they are adults?

Permanent hoovers. Mine's about 7" now and keeps my tank spotless which had always had algae problems in the past.

I hear they eat slime coats. Someone on the forum is selling theirs now because it was eating the slime coats of of their clown loaches and bichirs.

yep they sure do; well at least mine is starting to.. mines is about 9-10"

mine is about 4 inch i have no problem with mine and slime coats he is in with alot of clown loaches

Mine is about 4-5" and I've got no problem with any of my fish. Best maid I've ever had!

My 2 are 5'' and will eat everything but slime.
