also ,when do they start to color up ,cause my biggest is almost an inch and still no color

o.k ,time for an update

so they went at it again and had a second succsessful spawn ,but i dought that the new fry will last that long with their older siblings still being in the same thank ,also with the first batch the fry are getting big ,with some topping off 1 inch ,but still no color

i agree fishbreeder thats a convict x HRP convict female and male hrp because body shape leans to the hrp side and a males genetics are stronger then a females.

sorry not trying to derail the thread but is there any truth behind this? not a bio major, but this seems highly illogical to me.

yeah not to offend you but, are you in high school? or have you graduated?

if your in high school you will learn more about genetics and how the fathers genes are dominate over a females.
