No, that sounds wonderful. How long are you supposed to keep up the treatment?

about 2 weeks, or until symptoms disapear.
should i feed it to him daily or every second day?

Follow the instructions. I'd assume every day, but I haven't used that medication.

thanks!!! il let you know how it works out, if ot im going to switch to parazipro

I am dealing with the exact problem with the exact fish. I am currently in the philippines and I cant find good medication for him. It's very limited so far as I can see. I'm going the the fishstore now to try to find something, anything to save it. The micropeltes hasnt eated good in weeks and is getting kind of skinny. It used to eat a ton and be very aggressive chasing food around like a torpedo. Now he eats very little but does still eat. This sucks

You don't have access to levamisole hydrochloride of fenbendazole?

I found some today (parasites away, contains medendazole, mertronidazole) and another more expensive brand that has the same ingredients. I am going to go with the more expensive branded one right now. Gonna vacuum the gravel and do a 1/2 water change before hand. they call for a 1/3 water change.

That is tape worms for sure. My micros had the same exact thing. The easiest way to get rid of the tape worms is to use the tape worm pills for cats. I break a small piece of the pill and put it in a goldfish and feed it to the micro. The worms will come out overnight. You can try it again after two weeks just to make sure there are no more. Good Luck.

the meds worked, no more octopus coming out of the poo hole and is eating again. very good, Nothing external for 3 days

Which med was used? The one with mebendazole? I used one including albendazole before. Kinda strong though.
