Its under exotic pets because they aren't something you see every day, or even every year. unless you own one of course.

Ours is now running around a backyard in Lewiston. It is so big that dogs are afraid of it!

Today was a sad day... We went down to Lewiston this morning to find our beloved Flemish giant rabbit dead. He died of a heat stroke today. Lewiston hit temps nearing 100° today, and it was simply too much for him. I will be acquiring another one shortly hopefully from one of the local breeders, as this was a present to my wife, and she was very grief struck by the loss of her "Giant bunny rabbit".

my friend had one in back in high school. it was a huge friggin rabbit, it was even kitty litter trainned. it was bigger then his moms poodle too. it use to roam all around the house and slept in a lil dog grate. lol
