why is my fish floating around?!? on his side, upside down and all around. but when i put my finger near him he swims away perfectly. is he doing that for fun?? i have a siniperca whiteheadi by the way. i did a water change and added some salt and stress zyme. anyone knows whats going on?

he could be stressed after the water change. Whyd you add stresszyme? you should add stresscoat instead Stresszyme is used to jumpstart your tank to cycle.
Gas? seriously, intestinal infections, swim bladder disease and intestinal blockage all can cause this, Antibiotics (Gram negative) usually work but if it is eating use medicated food, if not put it in a quarantine tank as the antibiotic solutions are murder on filter bacteria.
This same type of thing happens to my friends goldfish. He will come in and it will be floating upside down. I agree that this is some sort of swim bladder disorder, intestinal blockage type of problem. What seems to work for his is holding off on feeding for a couple of days and the problem solves itself.
I have also read that feeding a pea to the fish can help solve this problem. I don't have any first hand experience with this method and of course it will only work with herbivorous fish. Good luck
