does anybody know a way that i can sink floating pellets?

try soaking them before feeding most will sink if soaked for 15-20 mins or so

yeah i know that way but i was wondering if there was a more efficient way.

Unfortunately, that is the easy way. Soak them until the pellets are saturated and softened. Then, gently press each pellet on the side of the water bowl to expel the trapped air.

You could break each pellet. The more surface area exposed to water, the faster the pellet pieces will sink once saturated.

Tip: soak pellets along with thawing bloodworms to add additional flavor to the pellets as they absorb the 'worm water'.

cool tip

Just buy sinking pellets?

Ram them into an iceberg. But in all seriousness just buy sinking pellets! Do you have fish that are use to sinking and wont take floating?? Or bottom feeders?

i usually break my pellets in half, some float some sink, chuck some near your filter and they seem to sink quicker.

The easy way is to simply buy sinking pellets  Seriously, they do sell pellets that sink really good. I remember when I first started this hobby, I kept wondering why my pellets were not sinking too. That's because they were not sinking pellets, they were floating ones. Aquen has sinking pellets, there are others too.
