for some reason, mine won't eat floating pellets but will eat sinking pellets. if it won't take floating, maybe you could try sinking

mine is about 13-14in absolutly loves floating pellets even eats crisps and tryes to eat flakes.

I know how you feel! I can't even have floating plants in my gar tank or they will even try eating those and tear them apart! Once you have them on a good mixed diet, their isn't much they wont try eating.

Yep! Mine too...they will snap at any water disturbances and even things out of the water that they feel close enough to grab.
My FL takes Tetra LiuHan and aquamax floating pellets. But i agree, varied is good, I offer mine smelt, and market shrimp as well.
