i feed hikari food sticks and freeze dried srhimps. you think it might be the shrimps or something?Could be cheap food with a lot of fillers... Are they pellets?

It could be your fish is Overfed and doesn't process the food efficiently thus its still going to float since the sticks already do, and hikari has plenty of fillers.
As it is on average fish only process 50% of what they eat, technically they could eat their own crap and process 25% of that original nutrition lol.

Maybe the fish was gassy and some of the gasses was in the feces which caused it rise to the surface and float.
