Ok then check that it is not leaning into the center of the room. Once it starts to lean that's a sign of the floor warping. This can cause twisting which beams do not respond well to.
 
I just put a 180 in my house that is around the same age. I have 2x8's on 24" centers and the tank is sitting in the corner of the room. Both corner walls are load bearing. I bought a floor jack and 2x6's just incase but I checked after I filled the tank and it didn't budge at all. You'll be fine filling up your tank. Sounds like your joists are made out of old oak barn timbers.
