Mines are either on very top of the tank in the corner or in the bottom of the tank in the corner.. mostly chills in the corner top..

Thanks guys their pretty cool. After doing a 50-60% water change they seem more active. Maybe they don't like high nitrates or just more settled in, who knows they seem happy.
What they eat...........huh well giant danios at least, lol. I had a GT and a rotkeil sev in the tank before the gars and 5 giant danios for dithers. Well the first night the gars were in there they ate 4 of them and the next nite they 5th was gone, lol. It's been a week now and they haven't ate anything yet. I've dropped some frozen shrimp and scallops(thawed of course in cold water) and they would just let it fall and not do anything. So for not just trying to starve them a bit so they will eat soon.
