Florida gar care

Anyone have any pointers on care? Thinking about picking up some but gotta research first. Was looking around internet but not as much info as you would think. Mostly just fishing pictures.

a florida gar will reach 20+ inches w/out any problem in captivity. they grow at roughly an inch a month.

honestly i believe that they are one of the most laid back and easy fish to keep. I got my baby florida when he was about 4 and a half inches and threw him in with my arowana in my 180 cause shes really nice. Well she began grabbing my gars tail and even with this stress the gar was eating and chilling.

so i moved the gar upstairs and she began to become the harraser by biting all my charcins tails off and spitting out chinks of fin (really funny) Anyways shes peaceful as ever now just lays around until im there she comes up and waits for krill.... a lot of it. Doesnt mind being touched or anything. Really a "just add water" fish....(alot of water)
