...like i said it isn't worth it as he wont listen...The funny part is how many people actually believe the fish & game are gonna come kick down your door with a search warrant because your location says cali and you are asking questions about a Gar you own when you can go to practically any LFS in So. Cal and buy Gars

Also, the administration here openly acknowledges the presence of law enforcement in the forums. Contrary to popular belief, there -are- people whose job in its entirety is keeping their eye on things like this. Just because every gar keeper in California is not getting fined does not mean it does not happen.
how many cases of asian aro dealers in the us get busted? alot get caught from this exact thing...it does exist and they do go to peoples houses about illegal pets...it happens...a few of the dnr friends i have are investigating cases of this type of stuff as i type this...a qoute from one of them...

I totally agree with keeping up with local law, However, I don't think we should make his fish suffer by refusing information. He might lack judgment skills, but at this point he already has it, he won't get rid of it (He wont listen), all we can do is make sure his fish is healthy (He will listen).
