Good ending to the story

I have a Peacock that lost it eye in a in a breeding battle, a couple of weeks in a hospital tank and treatment and he was good as gold
Now he dominates the 6ft African tank he is in
But its funny , some of the smaller peacocks seem to have learned which side of the fish to pass by on so they don't get chased away
Maybe i am just imagining that

Ha that's cool. I'm sure they picked up the lack of eye on the side.

yuo aren't imagining it, when I used to breed big largemouths, one of the breeder males had a eye injury, he would only attack food if I threw it on that side, otherwise the other fish would get It before he would, he also preferred to ambush prey by hiding near brush/moss with his good side out, to the extent he was pale on one side from the lack of sun.

You could probably stop now, its not going to hurt to keep it going for a while. Once the wound is fully healed all will return to normal. Im glad to see its recovered well.
Thx! I just noticed my title has a huge typo. I was trying to rush and type on the phone. Ha.
