same as any other fish, however when young they like to hide in vegetation. So in your tank if it is young provide cover to reduce STRESS

Would a 450 gallon pond with a 6ft diameter be too small for 4 adult florida gar?

Always loved gar, I care for a couple of Needle nose but have never had the means to go to a spotted/ Florida gar would be nice though...
