oh yeah and i have 4 bala sharks in there was wondering how that will work out i put them in before i decided to make it a cichlid pond and there is no way in hell they are leaving they are all about 6inch right now and go 20 feet in 2 seconds.
Should be fine. They are hardy fish and all their requirements for water are pretty much the same as the cichlids you are keeping. They hit 14-18", which will fit right in with your big guys.
