hey koen i think ur right about them having different ways to take in are... ive noticed that with my snakeheads and polypterus aswell... sometimes they gulp in air through the mouth and sometimes they just raise halfs their head out of the water and breath normally...

did u end up keeping these guys?
i thought they were leaving with the big tank...
