I am both a fish lover and big baseball fan, however i think the marlins should spend there money on some better players, Just my opinion

I don't feel like doing the math, but if it's 34 feet long and 36" high and it's 600 gallons, what is that, about 4 in. deep? Lame.

I think the numbers are wrong. They are pretty big tanks. I'll get real numbers and post them when I can.

This was my thought

If it was 12 inches deep then it's 807 gallons. So something is way off. 24 inches is double that at 1614, maybe the writer left the 1 off of 1600 and it was suppose to say over 1600 gallons

There won't be sharks at this point.... stock will be mixed Atlantic Reef.
No algae problems forseen. Great LSS in the works.

i quote you because maybe you can give me a local view. i'm a baseball fanatic. attendance has been down for the last couple of years in general but it's always bothered me everytime they're showing highlights of a marlin (or to a lesser degree rays) game and the bleachers are empty minus one or two guys eating a hot dog. it doesn't even seem to matter who's coming to town. the whole time i'm thinking OMG, I'D BE SNATCHING UP THOSE CHEAP SEATS! Even when they won the world series a few years back they didn't draw well. This year looks worse then previous years when i see their games on tv. so why exactly are they building a new stadium? will it boost attendance? did the owner pay for it or the tax payers? Is it in a different location that they think will draw better? it's just sad to me because it's an organization that finds good young talent but don't draw enough attendance to resign these diamonds in the rough

IIRC, they may have left a ZERO off the end of the gallons. I'm double checking today.
.

Sounds like you might be helping out on the project? Take some pictures for us if you can!!
