That is a nice catch! Those Peacock Bass are a bomb to catch. It makes catching other freshwater fish on a fishing pole boring. I love catching them with my kids here in Hawaii

I fish from a Private community lake.

My suggestion would be to go in the Spring or Summer. Otherwise your best bet is to go fishing with a Peacock Bass guide on his boat. Lookup the Peacock Bass Association website, some guides list their services there.
