Appears to be a worthwhile goal!
Only problem with that is you will now aim for a nice number and would probably aim for 200 next year. lol
Caught this female PB between 8 and 9 PM today. I've observed this fish and its partner hanging around some weeds near shore the last three evenings. They show up around 8 PM everytime. Thought they would be perfect for making my earlier goal of 77 for the year.
Actually hooked both of them but both got away the first time. They moved away and were followed for about 10 paces while casting my favorite twitchbait. After about 10 minutes they headed back to their hangout. By this time, it was dark and all that was visible were two dark shadows under water. After about 10 casts this female obliged and was landed and released after about 5 minutes of fumbling in the dark trying to get it off the hooks. Hard to see anything after that.
#77 will have to wait another day.

WOOO!!! You just might get your 100 Pbass this year!
100 is actually only 24 catches away, and the season has much more left.
I'm taking it easy though. Just hunting now for 17 inch or bigger fish.
Today, I caught 100+ inches of fish.
But they were all 1/4 inch to 1 inch only. They are feeders for my growing PBs.
