Thanks guys I got a tip from a local guy up here about some old bridges where they catch tarpon up to 200 pounds off of. And use live bait.

That would be the Channel # 2 and 5 bridges on the US 1 highway going to the keys. If you use live baby blue crabs you'll get Permits, too. Sharks, Barracudas, Groupers, and snappers are abundant there.

If you're looking for a big fight, fish cut bait on the bottom at ebb tide and hook a sting ray and spend the rest of the day or night reeling it in.;)

lol sounds good to me :D. I dont know if thats the bridge. The one that he mentioned was no longer in use by cars.

They've built new bridges alongside the old bridges on US 1 going to the keys. The old bridges on Channel # 2 and 5 were converted to fishing piers. There's other old bridges that are now fishing piers. I believe the ones at Marathon and part of the old seven mile bridge are still fishable, but they are farther away from Miami.
