I know that isn't true. In the wild they are found in both brackish and freshwater as adults, and from what I've read, they have actually been reported to have spawned in freshwater aquaria, so I seriously doubt they would have to be transferred to full salt.Mudslinger14;4456505; said:Actually, I was told that pretty much any "freshwater" flounder you might see in a lfs is in fact brackish, and will only do well in brackish waters in its youth.Once it matures, it must be moved to full saltwater.
