More specific information is needed. Do you know exactly what type of 'flounder' you are talking about? Is it freshwater or saltwater?

My fresh water flounder loves fresh chopped worms and frozen bloodworm, i don't buy fresh live bloodworm anymore as i had problems because of it.

They'll eat most frozen foods, like shrimp, blood worms, etc.

are the FW flounders really freshwater, or do they need brackish?

I have two that are just shy of 3". They are as long as my index finger and love live blackworms. Mine have been living in pure freshwater for 1 year now. here is a pic shortly after I got them
