it says that it gives the same benefits as using fertilizer and CO2
has anyone used this product? and does it really work??
Fertilizers are any nutrient that is added to the water to supplement/accelerate the growth of plants. Organic carbon/CO2 is a nutrient, and it is used to supplement/accelerate the growth of plants, making it a fertilizer. Remember that ferts are not just nitrogen phosphorus and potassium, but a huge array of different nutrients.hillbilly;1706960;1706960 said:Excel is not fertilizer, but acts as a organic source of carbon. Yes, it does work, but CO2 injection would no doubt be much better for long term use.
To do that you need high lighting and a lot of co2, or a lot of patience.ctenopoma;1709430;1709430 said:I mainly just want to use it to get a carpet of dwarf hairgrass should this help a bit?
