Flourite Black Sand?

I do like the look of it, but I heard its a pain to set up (rinsing).
Is this true anyone?

I am looking for a new tank and if it does not come with a substrate, I may have to use flourite. I think it would look rad with bala sharks!

Ummm... Probably varies from batch to batch, but figure about an hour or so to wash a few bags.
 
I know it's not sand, it's more of a fine gravel, but I use Eco-Complete in my 10 and didn't rinse it before I put it in and the water was crystal clear.
