After buying and installing this item I have to to give it two thumbs up. It does what it say it does. My fish are having to adjust to having water current in the tank now.

They are a great little device but I find them a bit long so I take out two of the octolinks and it works just fine.

Don't you loose GPH in favor of Velocity with these? it looks basically like all this does is restrict the output to a smaller hole, creating more force and higher velocity. Then the flow looks to be increased due to the slits at the end allowing water from the tank to be mixed with the higher velocity, output.

I did notice my wet/dry leval rise. So yes you will lose some GPH.
