Flower Horn food

yea, but I also have a fredy cichlid in there around the same size and like a 10" green terror that doesnt really bother him. It's a 70 gal.

if thats a flowerhorn its a low grade one . you're gonna have to pay and/or search for better quality .
that being said , i think the flowerhorn foods are mostly hype and marketing . all you need is cichlid bio-gold , nls pellets ,or any other balanced cichlid diet .
 
yea I just got it like a month ago from the shark aquarium for 15 bucks. It's pretty ugly. I was hoping it would grow out of it.
 
As of my informations gathering any merch. Food will not change the color of the fh, but in the kok yeah, because the kok is just a fat, if feed a good quality food so your fh is going healhty then there's a possibility that their kok will grow more. If their color is red it will be red forever, if dark then dark forever, but for now dont worry too much because he/she is very young to judge its color, the color of it will change while its growing.
