so I know its risky to keep flowerhorn wjith other cichlid but if i got a 55 gallon what would work green terror? maybe oh and also wold would a kamfa get along whith a pair of jags in a 125 gallon or is it just best to keep him alone in a 55 gall

Agree with above. 55 is about as small a tank to keep an adult flowerhorn in. Simply no room for another cichlid to cohabitate, or anything else really.

Wouldnt try to mix him in with the jags either--especially a pair. More than likely end up a bloodbath.

So I kind of agree with above with this exception....55 is to small for an adult flowerhorn. Thats a 12" tank and a 12" fish.

thanks kinda knew it was to little but wanted 2nd opinion. what about the 55 for single a short bodied flowerhorn

FH keeper here. 55 ..... try a 110 for your FH and watch it thrive rather than just "live" you never said why you want tank mates for your FH? The terror or the jag idea is a bad move mate youl wake up in tears one morning in the first week if not the first day. Flowerhorns are utterly retarded when it comes to who's the biggest fish syndrome
