i have the same situation with you
every time they lay eggs ,after few hours they'll eat their own eggs or the male attract the female for no reason, i tried to separate them after they lay eggs and the male puts sperm in the eggs but it no use ,the eggs will get spoiled after 2 days
i have no idea how to breed these flowerhorns
can someone help me out?

I sort of licked out on this....This was awhile back, in 1999....Sorry, this was before I had digi cameras, so no pix...
During one of my lfs adventures, I found a a tank of 20, maybe 30 5-6 inch sub-adult Fkerhorns....To my amazement, I found a pair gaurding a nest site(no eggs)...I reserved the pair with $100 down payment, total cost was something near $200....SO, after paying in full, I took them home to their own 100g....They lived with a inch Arowana....Pea gravel, broken pots, and some fake Hornwort plants....I was amazed by their colors and the male's hump/aggressive attitude....Long story short, within 2 weeks of purchasing, the pair spawned and I had fry to take care of...I kept the 5 fastest growing fry and sold off the remaining for store credit....To me, the ***erhorn bred like convicts...Eventually killing off my beloved Arowana, hence the name Fkerhorn(F*koff fish)....
Tank specs were as follows:
Tank: 100g:5ft Basic Acrylic
Filtration: Fluval 403 and 2 AC500's(now110)
Temperature:2 Ebo-Jager 200W heaters...Steady 82 degrees....
Substrate: Home Depot Pea Gravel
Occupants: 6 inch pair of Flowerhorn and

GSP GSP GSP

I am a very big fan of the UFC. Ive watched it as far back as when Tank Abott was the man to beat..... Before Royce Gracie introduced the armbar to the UFC. Before the UFC even knew what the rear naked choke was. A am so happy that GSP kicked the ***** out of Matt Hughes. He was cocky as hell and needed to be beaten up! Im excited to see Gorges defend his title. Its nice to have a respectful, polite champ. :headbang2 Rock-on GSP!
