So guys I know I can probably find this somewhere here on the site but.....what is the minimum tank size for a flower horn?

75 gallon for most Flowerhorn, 55g for shortbodies, and 40g for bonsai (balloon/coin shaped).
What draws me to Flowerhorn is there personalities and look. A lot of people will say "oh I don't like those humps they grow" but to more you get into them the more it grows on you. The first thing most poeple do when they get their first Flowerhorn is they ask three things: What is it, what is the quality, and how much is it worth?
The first question is very valid because its understandable to want to know what you have. The other two are very pointless, if you are getting into Flowerhorn thinking its some kind of status symbol or something along those lines then it might not be for you. Yes in general Flowerhorn can cost a lot of money but you buy the fish you want because you like it not because its worth something. If you like the fish then thats all that should matter.
Most local stores that get Flowerhorn get them from them from wholesale and they typically look very bland. Some store like to throw a big price on them because of the name. Depending on where you live and what you have access too, I usually recommend you order fry or juvies from a trusted seller because they are usually cheap and shipping is usually very reasonable. They usually come out nice than anything you will find in a local store.
In general Flowerhorn are very aggressive and shouldn't be housed with other fish. With that said they make great single fish.
