Remember that unlike most other FH strain out there. Kamfa takes at least 2 years to mature here. So 4" is definitely quite young for a Kamfa to be breeding. Well, 4" would be too small for any FH on my part here.
When breeding, it is best to condition them for quite a while. And what I mean by conditioning them is to put a divider and let them see each other quite a while. If the female starts to swell up, then this means that the female is willing to breed. This may not be everyone's option of trying to breed a FH. But this is what I would recon.

How much should a FH measure to be able to breed ?:naughty:

my zz female laid eggs at 3.5 inch with tail.
kamfa take a wile to mature, it depends on the fish tho could be 4 inches or 8.

Female can lay eggs at young ages. I've seen some at 3.5" before that laid eggs. But haven't yet seen one as small at 3.5" that laid eggs with success of frys.

What? Your 4" Kamfa touched 6" in 1 week? :nilly:

No actually i had measured it from its mouth till the spot where the flowerlines enf. In other words i didnt include the rear fins. Now i measured it from head to rear fins and its approx 5.8" :screwy:

Ahh I see, well the smallest Kamfa I've seen that bred successfully is a 6". And this doesn't mean that your Kamfa will be able to breed successfully at 6", but it doesn't mean that it is not possible either. Maturing is the 1st goal of a Kamfa being able to breed, not how big they are. Some fish are small but old. Some are big but young...so don't count on size when it comes to having them breed.
